1. General
Words Worth Automotive provides vehicle inspections, servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and related automotive services.
By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes are estimates based on initial inspection only.
Final pricing may change if additional issues are found once work begins.
We will contact you before carrying out any extra work that affects the price.
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
3. Authorisation to Carry Out Work
By approving a quote or instructing us to proceed, you authorise Words Worth Automotive to:
Carry out agreed repairs or servicing
Test drive the vehicle where required
Use subcontractors or specialist services if needed
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due in full once work is completed, unless agreed otherwise.
We accept cash / EFTPOS / credit card / bank transfer – update as needed.
Vehicles may be held until full payment is received.
5. Parts and Warranties
New parts are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only.
Labour warranty applies only to work carried out by Words Worth Automotive.
Warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, or unrelated faults.
Used or reconditioned parts are supplied without warranty unless stated.
6. Warrant of Fitness (WOF) Inspections
A WOF inspection is a safety check only, not a full mechanical inspection.
Passing a WOF does not guarantee the long-term condition of the vehicle.
Re-check fees may apply if repairs are not completed within the required timeframe.
7. Vehicle Condition and Liability
We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, hidden defects, or failures that occur after repairs due to unrelated issues.
While reasonable care is taken, we are not liable for loss or damage caused by events outside our control, including theft, fire, or weather.
8. Customer Responsibilities
You confirm that:
You are the owner of the vehicle or authorised to approve work
Information provided about the vehicle is accurate
Personal items are removed from the vehicle before servicing
9. Storage Fees
Vehicles left at our premises for more than 7 days after completion may incur storage fees.
10. Cancellations
Please give reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Missed appointments may incur a fee.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern, please contact us as soon as possible.
We aim to resolve issues fairly and promptly.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
